Driver charged with felony vehicular homicide; arrested after USCIS screening

Dawood Hussain, an illegal Pakistani alien, allegedly drove a commercial tractor-trailer the wrong way on a Pennsylvania highway in October 2023, killing Hendry Tamarez Nunez. USCIS' screening flagged Hussain as a public-safety threat and alerted ICE, which arrested him at a scheduled interview. USCIS noted a new DOT rule (effective March 2026) barring many aliens from obtaining CDLs would have prevented the tragedy — a rule tying directly to the initiative's 'Dalilah Law' framework.

Harjinder Singh attempted an illegal U-turn through an 'Official Use Only' access point, blocking all lanes of the highway with his 18-wheeler and triggering a wreck that instantly killed three people. Despite having no legal right to be in the U.S., Singh held a California-issued CDL, which gave him the keys to a 40-ton vehicle on public roads.

Charged with vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated & DUI; ICE detainer lodged

Jashanpreet Singh, a criminal illegal alien from India, killed three people and injured several others in an eight-vehicle DUI crash involving his 18-wheeler in San Bernardino County. Dash-camera footage captured the collision. Singh first entered the U.S. through the southern border in 2022 and was released, later driving a commercial semi on American roads.

ICE arrested Singh in August 2025; the Coleman family later met him at Mesa Verde Detention Center. Per a statement from Dalilah's father Marcus Coleman, Singh has since fled back to India.

Partap Singh, an illegal alien from India operating a commercial 18-wheeler, caused a multi-car pileup that left six-year-old Dalilah Coleman with a traumatic brain injury. Her father Marcus Coleman said, 'I lost my daughter that day. I lost the little girl who used to run down the driveway when I pulled up.' Dalilah now requires a wheelchair and lifelong daily care. Critically, no one was killed in this crash — yet a released, unverified driver still destroyed a child's life. Singh held a California-licensed CDL and a federally-approved Employment Authorization Document, which the federal government renewed even after the accident. This is the tragedy the initiative's 'Dalilah Law' is named for.

Driver charged with homicide by vehicle, involuntary manslaughter & reckless driving ($700K bail)

Michael Bon, a 33-year-old Haitian national living in Massachusetts, allegedly left the roadway and struck the marked patrol vehicle and truck that Pennsylvania State Trooper Michael E. Pahira Jr. was inspecting along I-81, killing the trooper. Bon entered the U.S. on humanitarian parole in 2024; his parole was terminated and he was ordered to leave in 2025, but remained. The case prompted renewed calls to tighten non-domiciled CDL rules.

Kamalpreet Singh, a criminal illegal alien truck driver from India, failed to decelerate on a Washington State freeway on December 11, 2025, striking the rear of another vehicle and pushing it into a third vehicle. The vehicle he directly hit caught fire and its 29-year-old driver, Robert Pearson, died on the scene. Singh illegally entered the U.S. in 2023 near Lukeville, Arizona, and was released into the country by the Biden administration. Despite an ICE arrest detainer, Washington sanctuary politicians refused to honor it — releasing a public-safety threat back onto the roads.
